Pricing Plans
What should I do if I'm not satisfied with eCommerce?
If you are not satisfied with the XML service for whatever reason, within your first 3 months (3x 4 weekly payment cycles), then we will issue you with a full refund of your subscription fees. The actual shipping fees (due to the carriers) will still apply.
What eCommerce platforms and marketplaces do XML support?
We are constantly adding new platforms and marketplaces, to help our customers streamline their shipping processes. Hopefully the one you work with will appear here, however if it’s not, please get in touch and we’ll let you know how close we are to adding it.
What is the cost to connect extra web-shops?
Both the XML Starter & XML Pro options, both come with the ability to add unlimited web-shops, as we certainly do not want to stand in the way of you growing your business.
What support does XML eCommerce offer?
We offer free support to all of our customers via telephone, email, Messenger, WhatsApp, webinars, video content and our extensive knowledge base. XML Pro & Medium Shop plans also have access to a dedicated Customer Care or Account Manager contacts.
What counts as a shipment?
Any shipping label that is generated through XML eCommerce, including return labels through our customer return portals, will be counted as a shipment and charged accordingly. Only shipments that are subsequently cancelled, before the end of the week that they were generated (Sunday 23:59:59 GMT), will not be charged at the full shipping rate. Reprinting an already registered shipping label is not counted as an additional shipment, but re-shipping an order, including ‘Duplicate’ of an existing label (as in, generating a new label) is counted.
Are there any other fees?
We won’t charge you any additional fees outside of the subscription cost, and/or the quoted carriers rates at the point of booking. Should there be additional carrier charges, due to incorrect or incomplete booking data, or goods returned to sender for example, then these additional charges will be passed back. Please note that when shipping international parcels & freight, where DDP (Delivered Duties Paid) is chosen and RDS takes care of the customs formalities & payment, a £5 or 5% admin fee (whichever is the greater) of the total customs & associated carrier costs (excluding the shipping costs) will apply.
Can I change my plan?
Of course! If your peak plan suggests that volumes are likely to increase, then just get in touch and we’ll change your plan for you. Similarly, if volumes are forecast to go the other way, just let us know and we’ll flip you back.
Please note we cannot change plans once the 4 week period has started, so be sure to get in touch before the next cycle starts.
Can I cancel my account at any time?
Again, of course! If we are not doing our job correctly, or circumstances change, we are not going to tie you in.
All we require is 30 days’ notice for subscription customers (Small, Medium & Large Shop) that you wish to cancel.
We’ll make sure the following month’s subscription is not charged. XML Starter & XML Pro customers can crease trading at any time.
When will I be charged?
If you are using our discounted carrier contracts, we will invoice you for the week previous, mid the following week (enabling us the opportunity to vet the carrier invoices, to ensure what we have been charged matches what has been booked with XML) with 7 day, XML payment terms.
Should you then use an American Express® Business Platinum Card, or an The American Express® Business Platinum Card to settle your invoice, you could then extend those payment terms by an additional 54 days.
Monthly subscription fees will be charged on a 4 weekly cycle, from the commence date until 30 day notice has been served.
